Ledo’s Pizza will be hosting a fundraiser for Washington District Elementary School, from 11-9.

There is a Therapeutic Moves class at the Colonial Beach Community Center, from 10-11.  Cost is $5.

IRS certified volunteer tax consultants will be at the Cooper Branch Library between 1-5 every Thursday until April 10th,  or stop by and make an appointment and pick up your tax prep information packet during normal library hours.

Valentines Day!

The Traveling Yogi has Gentle Yoga with CB Parks at the Colonial Beach Community Center, from 10-11.

The Ice House has Valentine’s Dinner Specials – reservations recommended; $5 Bites & $5 Brews at 4:30; Flannel Fridays – wear a flannel shirt for $5 pours all night long; live music with “Cameron Ashton” at 6:30.

Dahlgren Half Marathon – Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail.  This is a scenic out and back course on a flat, smooth old railroad bed.  Cash prizes, great competition, good food, and awesome swag all make this a memorable event.  And because we understand it can be a bit chilly in February 😉 we will be starting the race at 9:00 am to let it warm up and let you get a little more sleep.   7:30 – 2.  More information can be found at www.kinggeorgecountyva.gov.
