Craig Jennings / DJ

Craig began collecting beach music as a young boy on trips to Myrtle Beach with his family.  He began shagging in 1995 when he joined the Northern Virginia Shag Club (NVSC) and began DJ’ing for the club in May of 1996.  Since then he has played regularly for NVSC while also playing private parties and for other shag clubs throughout the southeast including the Battlefield Boogie Club, Richmond Shag Club, Lynchburg Shag Club, Danville Shag Club, and Roanoke Shag Club. He also DJs multiple shag contests each year to include the Grand National Dance Championships, Fat Harold’s Labor Day Contest and Keepers of the Dance.

In 2022, Craig was elected to the ????? ????? ?????? ???? ?? ????! Few Deejays have received this special honor from their peers. Craig has been a long time DJ and club member for the NVSC.   We are lucky to have him as a show host and very active volunteer!
