Special Day Announcements

Would you like to give a special gift to a friend or family member?  How about a special announcement for a birthday, anniversary, or graduation on WWER?   For $20 donation, we will wish a happy birthday, anniversary, or other special event on air on their special day.  We will make the announcement several times throughout the day.  There are 6 scheduled* times; approximately 12:15am, 6:15am, 9:15am, 11:15am, 3:15pm and 6:15pm.

Here’s how it works!

  1. First, you make the $20 (or more) donation. Click Paypal or mail a check to WWER, PO Box 577 Colonial Beach VA 22443.
  2. Complete the form below with the details of what you want announced and when.

If you like, you can record the announcement yourself and we will put it on air, or one of our volunteers can voice it for you.  In all cases, the script must be approved by WWER.  If you have questions, please reach out to WWER (Click Here).

All requests should be done 2 weeks in advance to allow recording and scheduling of your announcement. We make every possible effort to have your announcement run as scheduled, but we can not guarantee them!

    Please be sure to include details about the special day - You may even write a script or record it yourself and attach it here if you wish. WWER reserves the right to edit all submissions.
