New Underwriters

As a non-commercial station, our two main sources of income are our WATTS members and our Underwriters.  Underwriters are businesses who donate money to WWER in exchange for on-air mentions of their business.  A more common term might be sponsor, but we like to differentiate with the term underwriter we are not a commercial station.  We are non-profit.

In my last note, I thanked our underwriters who have renewed this year.  Their ongoing support helps to keep us on the air.  Today I thought I would do the same for our new underwriters.  We are always looking for new supporters and recently we have had a few join us.  Word of mouth seems to be getting around for us.   If you want to know more about any of them, click the link to jump to their web site.

We are always looking for new supporters, so if you frequent a business anywhere in the region, please do mention us to them.  It’s a great way for a business not in Colonial Beach to get their message to our Colonial Beach audience!
