A Podcast by any other name…

Long before there were Podcasts; long before the internet, there were broadcasts.  Radio stations kept recordings of those broadcasts in their archive.  An audio library which could be listened to, or even used on air again.  Now with the internet, we can offer those old recordings online for you to enjoy again at any time.  The popular name for this feature is Podcast, but I still think of them as our archive.

We’ve been working to update ours, and are now ready to present our new Broadcast Archive (podcast library).  As before, they are presented in chronological order, but now you can sort by show or topic and even search by keyword to find just what you are looking for.  Uploading and cataloging this material was a reminder of how much original content we have done over the last 3+ years.  It all started with Porch Talk.  They are all there, even the pilot shows we made but did not originally air.

Special thanks to volunteer Phil Imhof, who has been instrumental in setting up this new archive and making our web site easier to navigate.

We’ll keep adding shows after the are broadcast, so you can catch shows you missed on air.  Have a look around, and remember some of your favorite shows, or people in Colonial Beach!
