Christmas specials

Ready or not, here comes Christmas! We hope you have been enjoying the Christmas music we have added to the WWER music mix. We’ve been ramping it up week by week as Christmas approaches. On Friday, Christmas Eve we will switch to all Christmas music starting at 6AM and run through the weekend until Sunday at 5PM. Sunday at 5 starts our usual special programs – Beach Breeze & Grooves, Early Jazz Music Review and Calder’s Collection. All of them have already been doing Christmas specials as well, in their own genres.
We are also very excited to have another radio play by the Colonial Beach Playhouse presented as their gift to everyone. “Quarantined” will run 3 times over the weekend:
Friday – Christmas Eve
- 6AM – All Christmas music starts
- 2PM – “Quarantined” – A new radio play present by the Colonial Beach Playhouse. It’s their Christmas present to everyone. Previous productions by the players have been very popular, so we are going to run it several times to allow everyone to catch it!
- 7PM – “Quarantined”
- 10PM – A Christmas Carol – starring Lionel Barrymore.
Christmas Day
- The all Christmas music mix continues
- 11AM – The Perfect Hour – This week we asked our listeners to pick only their favorite Holiday tunes for our Christmas edition.
- 7PM – “Quarantined”
Sunday
- 6AM – Worship Service – A recorded presentation of the Christmas service from the Colonial Beach Baptist Church.
- 7AM – The Nutcracker
- The all Christmas music mix continues
- 5PM – Beach Breeze & Grooves Christmas Special
- 7PM – Early Jazz Music Review Christmas Special
- 9PM – Calder’s Collection Christmas Special
- 10PM – Music Starstreams
