WWER is here to help keep residents informed.  We welcome local businesses, civic groups, non-profits, churches and others who have special announcements they would like put on air to contact us.  If you are cancelling a meeting, a concert, church service or other event we can help spread the word.  If you are organizing something special to help out, we can help spread the word.  If you are a business and want to let people know you are still open, we can do that too.

The town of Colonial Beach has declared a state of emergency in response to COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus.  We are airing special announcements on the air and will update as needed.  Town offices are closed to the public until further notice, but town services like trash pickup will continue as normal.  You can find more details on their web site https://colonialbeachva.net/

While the school is closed, they will still be preparing meals for the school community.  We will be announcing details about that on air too, or you can read it from the published announcement.

WWER will continue to air updates as quickly as we can.  We are here to serve and support Colonial Beach.
