Drifters on WWER

Since before we officially went on air, people asked me if we would broadcast Drifters games.  At the time, we did not have the equipment or enough volunteers to make that happen.  Now that is changing.  Some new volunteers are spearheading a project to put games on air.  We are also working to raise money for the equipment needed to do live play by play coverage.  For now, we are starting small, with short reports recorded after the game which we will broadcast as part of our top of the hour information for a few days after home games.   Our first report is on air this week.  They will also be available online in our broadcast archives.

We are excited to be able to provide this for the community, and the school has been very cooperative in our efforts.  We have a small team of volunteers working to make this happen.  If you want to join them, please reach out using our online volunteer contact form.
