Events Aug 29 to Sep 3

This is the WWER 88.1 events calendar.  A weekly roundup of events and entertainment in and around Colonial Beach.

On Tuesday, August 29, CB Brewing has Yoga with Dani Moon starting at 6:00 and Colonial Buzz Wine and Espresso Bar has Yappy Hour from 4:00 to 7:00 with treats and refreshments for dogs and their humans.

On Wednesday, August 30, CB Brewing will hold its weekly Trivia Contest starting at 6:00 and the Ice House has karaoke with Amanda also starting at 6:00.  The Karaoke Contest continues at the Ice House.

On Thursday, August 31, The Ice House has Trivia, starting at 7:00.  At 8PM, tune to WWER for Porch Talk.  This week’s guest is Pat Holland.

On Friday September 1, Debra and Patrick will be at CB Brewing starting at 6:00, Kathy’s Klassics will be at the Ice House starting at 6:30, Bombshell RVA will be at High Tides starting at 7:00, DJ hatch will be at Dockside starting at 6:00 and The Hard To Tell Band will be playing at First Friday in Montross from 5:30 to 8:30.  Friday is also a Sip N Stroll event from 4:00 until 7:00.

On Saturday, September 2, Wesley Spangler will be at High Tides starting at 1:00, with More More More taking over at 7:00, Barefoot Joe will be at Dockside starting at 12:00, DJ Turtle comes on at 4:00 and Legal in the District takes over at 7:00. Everett Stora will be at the Ice House, starting at 6:30. There is also a Sip N Stroll event from 1:00 to 4:00. At 9AM, tune to WWER for Porch Talk.  This week’s guest is Pat Holland.

On Sunday, September 3, The Tyler Nichols Band will be at High Tides from 3:00 to 7:00, Robin Redman and the Birdie River Band will be at the Ice House starting at 3:00, Mariah Jean will be at Dockside starting at 11:00, with Captain Seawalker  taking over at 3:00 and the Hot Fun Band wrapping up the weekend starting at 7:00.

Also, this weekend is the 56th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival on the Boardwalk and Town Hill

Saturday and Sunday September 2nd and 3rd beginning at 10AM

Over 50 vendors including fine art, local artisans and crafters and food trucks.

Upscale Silent Auction Saturday only (10- 4:30pm) sponsored by (BAMM), benefitting the Colonial Beach Schools.
