Halloween is a week away and we have lots of things to tell you about. Don’t worry, it’s not scary.

Lastly, we wanted to remind you that Election Day is also coming up fast. Perhaps that is a bit scary! If you haven’t made your decision on who to vote for in our local Town Council election, remember that the candidate forum is available in our online archive to listen to again and hear the candidates voice their opinions.
In addition, the Women’s Business Network created 10 questions and interviewed each Candidate. All Candidates were given the same 10 business-oriented questions to include the current challenges, parking, taxes and future growth. You can listen to their interviews at womensbusinessnetworking.com.
The Women’s Business Network is a collective group or Women Business Owners / Women in Business in the Colonial Beach area. They meet the third (3) Wednesday of each month at the Ice House Marina and Brewery at 8:30 am. The meetings are centered around a speaker, networking and collaboration.
