Our April edition of Town Matters is a discussion about the Community Heart and Soul initiative in Colonial Beach. This initiative is a four-phase process designed to actively involve all residents in shaping our community’s future by identifying what we value most. The conversation highlights the current “connecting” phase, which focuses on gathering residents’ stories to understand their emotional connections and aspirations for the town. By collecting these narratives, the project aims to build a community-driven foundation for future planning and action, ultimately leading to the adoption of community values into local policies.
