Schools opening soon!

If you have a school aged child you won’t want to miss Town Matters this week on WWER. I spoke at length with Dashan Turner, Superintendent of Colonial Beach schools about plans for re-opening school amid the COVID-19 situation. We covered a broad range of topics from the fact that opening day has been pushed back to August 17 with a “virtual” opening, to what students can expect to find when they do return to in class learning.
As you can imagine, there was a lot to cover, so we’ve turned it into a 2 part show. Part one airs Tuesday evening at 8PM, and part 2 on Friday at 8PM. We will air them the next few weeks to give everyone a chance to hear all the details, and post them on our archive after they air so you can listen any time.
