Thursday Schedule – Time to talk

Our Thursday evening schedule has two new items.  At 8PM we present our ‘Talk Block” which will rotate each week through several different talk shows:

• Porch Talk – The popular chat show moves from Monday to Thursday.
• Town Matters – Our discussion show about local government and news.
• Outcasting – Covering a variety of topics from the perspective of young LGBTQ people.
• Talk of the Town – Events going on in and around Colonial Beach

We aim to have a new show each week.  This week we start with a new Porch Talk.  It’s a recording done by Caryn Self Sullivan in 2015 as part of the StoryCorps project.  The guests she interviewed have since passed, so these recordings are even more valuable to preserving memories of Colonial Beach.

At 11PM, we rebroadcast the first edition of the Perfect Hour.  This weeks music was chosen by WWER listener and Member Steve Zis.
