Week One Program Schedule

WWER Listeners: Today we are unveiling our Week 1 Programming Schedule!  Please know that the first week of June will be our first week ever on the air.  As such, the schedule will likely require some “on the fly” adjustments, as we learn our way into operating a community radio station, on donated equipment, with an all-volunteer staff.  We will do our best to keep this website schedule in sync with any of these tweaks.

With the above cautions in mind, you should also know that due to the amazing efforts of our radio experts (Ted Tait and Charlie Wilson) our week one schedule will be go far beyond our original week one vision — which was essentially a music loop and station ID’s on the hour.  In addition managing the automation of all the on air content, Charlie is also producing TWO shows that appear on our early schedule.  Colonial Beach local musician Dave Tucker, will also be debuting his own show, the Early Jazz Review.  Though not shown on the big picture schedule, we will be featuring local weather forecasts and Colonial Beach tides reports as well.  It gives me goosebumps (literally) to think that this dream of ours will become a reality 10 days!
