Welcoming new neighbors and Volunteers

Are you new to Colonial Beach and don’t quite know your way around yet? Would you like to learn more about Colonial Beach? Meet people? Make Connections? Get involved? Then, the Foundation’s newly formed Welcome to Colonial Beach (WCB) group is a good place to start. From May through October, the WCB will meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month beginning at 6 PM at various locations around town.

The first meetup is scheduled for Thursday May 20 at Colonial Beach Brewing (215C Washington Ave) at 6PM. Everyone is welcome.

I’ll be there in person to represent WWER and welcome new neighbors, and hopefully recruit some new volunteers.  As a follow up to this, WWER will hold a virtual volunteers meeting on Sunday, May 23 at 11AM.  All volunteers, new and old are welcome to join us for a review of what WWER is up to and where we can use more help.  The link to join is https://meet.google.com/cdf-gazo-ayr
